There are many children all around the world who are suffering from Autism which is a neural disorder which will affect the child’s ability to speak and also his or her social behavior. There are many theories revolving about the cause for this disorder, but not many of them have bee proved to be significantly true. Some scientists blame the genetics of a child for Autism. They say that a child may be Autistic if there was anyone in his ancestors who was Autistic, but this cannot be generally traced through all generations. Some say that autism is caused by prenatal problems like advanced age in parent, diabetes, bleeding or the use o psychiatric drugs by the mother during pregnancy.
There are some theories involving prenatal reasons like premature delivery of the baby and really low birth weight of the baby. Postnatal theories involving Autism suggest various causes for this disorder. Some postnatal causes are mercury poisoning in the infant, vaccination, viral infection, oxidative stress, amygdale neurons, lack of Vitamin D, lead poisoning and leaky gut syndrome. Giving children Paracetamol tablets to children also has been considered as a possible cause for Autism in children in their first three years of age.
We should understand that Autism affects every one out of one hundred and fifty children and most likely shows within the age of three. It is identified that the neurons that connect the brain cells and the nerve cells are the one’s affected by the disorder. The frontal lobe of the brain which controls the speech and behavioral attributes of a child is the part that is affected by this disorder, thus hampering with the speech and social ability of the child. Sometimes children who are Autistic tend to become violent, not only because they cannot communicate but also because they can misinterpret what others are talking to them. Sometimes a simple smile may seem insulting to a confused child affected by this disorder. Proper care is necessary for this disorder.

Life changing Autism
Generally Autistic children are identified in the early stages of their life. This is a disorder that affects the ability to communicate, ability to interact and the ability to understand in a child. This will impair the social life of the child. This disorder will be there for the entire life of the child. Until and unless the child is properly treated for this disorder the child when he or she has grown up will have a great difficulty in being accepted in the society and also in accepting the society. These children may grow up to be violent if not treated; this will surely cause a lot of problems to the child as a person and also his or her family.
To the children who are suffering from Autism the world is but an alien land where they cannot understand anything about love, affection, friendship etc. They are simply happy in their own world doing weird things like repeatedly swinging their arms, shaking their heads from side to side, running around in circles and other things. These children do not understand that when they do like this they are seen as some sort of kid in the mental asylum.
There have been protests in the past when some Autistic children have been locked up in asylums because of their behavior. This has a really adverse effect on the child. The child that is suffering from this autism does not need to be locked away but needs the love and affection that his or her parents, siblings and the society can offer them. We must understand that these children are more special than other normal children because those children can actually ask for what they want, these children cannot even understand that they want something. The normal children will know when you tell something, these Autistic children won’t even know you are telling something to them let alone understanding what you say.

What is Autism?
Autism is a disorder that occurs in the first three years of a child’s life. It affects the normal development of the child’s social and communicative ability. It is relative to the abnormality of the biology and the chemistry of the brain, that is there are some problems in the brain that relate to the physical and psychological development of the child. Researchers are still searching for the thing that actually causes this kind of abnormality in an infant or a child. This Autism causes the affected children to live in a world of their and not interact with their peer group or anyone else for that matter.
Children who are affected by this Autism generally are unable to speak to others and do not know how to express their feelings and emotions, in such a case they tend to keep to themselves. They need special help from parents, teachers and specialists to help them communicate effectively. These kids sometimes suffer because of things that seem normal to us in a sense like sounds or touch. As these kids cannot communicate on their own or express any feeling they cannot connect someone else’s reactions with their facial reaction, they may even interpret it in the wrong way.
The kids who are suffering from this autism cannot understand and go ahead with day to day work like the other children of their age. Autism continues for their whole life. This disorder sometimes causes these children to act in an unruly fashion. But it is not the fault of these children as they cannot control themselves unless they are properly trained. People especially children who are suffering from this disorder need not be locked away in an asylum. They just need proper care and love and affection from their parents, teachers, siblings and the society as a whole. The world must understand that even though these Autistic children cannot show emotions it does not mean that they do not have emotions.
